Sources of funding and further advice
Below are some useful sources of funding for your facility:
- Sport England: Advice and support (sportengland.org) to help ensure everyone has access to high-quality facilities. Sport England is also a statutory consultee on planning applications affecting playing field land
- Leicestershire and Rutland Active Partnership: Facility support (active-together.org) includes information and guidance on reopening safely post-Covid, support in accessing facilities for people with special needs. They also host a facility finder where you can register your facility so people can be aware of it
- Funding finder (active-together.org) offers a whole range of funding sources
The council can also provide advice and support in all areas of facility development, from identifying strategic need and funding, to support with funding applications, planning advice and sharing best practice.
