Overview
What's it all about?
The Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) 2025 provides a comprehensive and robust evidence base on issues of flood risk to support the production of the Local Plan to 2041. The SFRA will be used inform decisions on the location of future development and the preparation of sustainable policies for the long-term management of flood risk.
The SFRA is presented in two parts:
- The Level 1 SFRA (2025) is now available.
- The Level 2 SFRA (2025) is not available yet. The most recent SFRA Level 2 (2020) remains available to access in the meantime.
Level 1 SFRA (2025)
The Level 1 SFRA (2025) document provides a comprehensive and robust evidence base on flood risk issues to support the review and update of the planning policies for Hinckley and Bosworth borough. This report uses the best available information at the time of publication, including input from key stakeholders.
