House Tag

Currently we are in the process of introducing House Tag, a simple QR code system put on your electrical consumer unit that allows residents to access important property and safety information quickly and easily.

To install these tags, House Tag operatives and our electrical contractor Farrendale Ltd may visit your home when working in the local area. These visits may be unannounced, but all operatives will carry identification and can verify their authority before any work is carried out.

A notification letter will also be sent prior to them being given instruction to attempt a visit to your home.

Will House Tag cost me anything?

No, the installation and use is completely free of charge to tenants.

How to use House Tag

To scan the tag:

1. Open the camera app on your device
2. Point towards the QR code on the House Tag
3. A prompt to view a webpage will appear (actual sequence varies by device) touch this prompt to open the page
4. Enter the postcode of your property when prompted
5. Any current and approved documents and certificates will be shown on screen
