Community grants

What grants are available?

The following grants are available:

  • Tesco community grants - open to charities and community organisations to apply for a grant of up to £1,500, a rolling programme you can apply for at any time. Every three months, three local good causes are selected to be in the blue token customer vote in Tesco stores throughout the UK. They will fund local good causes which focus on supporting children and families. For example, a children’s breakfast club, mental health support for young people, equipment for sports clubs, or a parents and tots group. Apply online by visiting Tesco community grants (tescocommunitygrants.org.uk)
  • Asda Foundation - Cost of living grant (asdafoundation.org) - Grants of between £500 and £2000 are available for local community groups in the UK who are affected by the increase in the cost of living
  • Warm this Winter Campaign Grants (supportingcommunities.org) - Grants of between £200 and £5000 are available to support groups to hold events and activities in support of the Warm this Winter Campaign
  • Hinckley & Bosworth voluntary and community sector (VCS) grants - voluntary and community sector groups and volunteers can apply for funding via the VCS Partnership. There are two key funds:
  • The Warm Spaces grant funding is being made available by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and is being administered by the Rural Community Council (RCC). Through the fund, Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) or not for profit organisations (not town or parish councils) can apply for a grant that will help with the associated costs in providing a Warm Space provision in the Borough of Hinckley & Bosworth for the benefit of local residents. The Warm Space provision must be over and above your organisation's usual offer. For example, it is an added value/additional offer to the community and is offered for a minimum of 12 hours a month, for a minimum of four months during the period November 2022 and March 2023. We have made the online application process as simple as possible. There is no deadline for applications and grants of £1,200 are offered on a first come, first served basis. To apply, please visit HBBC Warm Spaces Grants Fund

Although a wide range of community projects are eligible, we are actively encouraging applications that support communities with the rising cost of living.
