Play areas in Hinckley
Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council is responsible for maintaining the play areas on the parks within Hinckley. Play areas outside of Hinckley are maintained by the relevant parish or town council
About our play areas
The play areas in Hinckley offer a range of different play equipment for children from the ages of two to 12 years old. They have been designed with inclusive play in mind, allowing them to be used by children of all abilities.
Inspecting play areas
The play areas are inspected by trained council staff on a weekly basis to ensure all equipment remains safe to use. Inspections of all of our play areas are also carried out by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) on an annual basis.
