Levelling Up Fund, 2021 - successful bid for funding
National science and conservation centre at Twycross Zoo
Following a successful bid for funding under the first round of the Levelling Up Fund in 2021, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough was awarded £19,900,000 to deliver a national science and conservation centre at Twycross Zoo. The project will provide a purpose-built centre located adjacent to Twycross Zoo, offering researchers the opportunity to study the four great apes, plus over 100 endangered species.
