Making a difference community award 2021

How to nominate

Our annual making a difference community award recognises the contribution that volunteers make in strengthening our community and improving the quality of life for residents.

This year we only had one category and that is to recognise the amazing volunteers across the Borough who have supported the community over the past year. Nominations included any individual or group of volunteers who contributed to making the borough a better place to live, this could have been anyone from a regular litter picker, someone collecting prescriptions for someone in need or a vaccination centre marshal. This year we celebrated all of our nominees at a virtual 'Making a Difference' event, which was held on Thursday 3 June.

Please note: Hinckley & Bosworth Borough councillors were not eligible for these awards.

Sporting volunteers should be nominated for the Hinckley & Bosworth sports awards later in the year.
