Regulation 15 Submission & Regulation 16 Consultation

Sutton Cheney Parish Council submitted their neighbourhood plan to the council in January 2025, and the council accepted this submission on 4 February 2025. As a result, the Dadlington Neighbourhood Plan was subject to consultation, called the Regulation 16 Submission Consultation. The consultation ran for just over six weeks, from 12pm Friday 7 March to 12pm Tuesday 22 April 2025.

Examination and decision to proceed

All representations were forwarded to the independent Neighbourhood Plan Examiner appointed by the Local Planning Authority and Sutton Cheney Parish Council, Mr Chris Collison. All updates during the examination will be available below:

Referendum and the Making of the Plan

Dadlington Neighbourhood Plan went to referendum on Thursday 5 February 2026. View the specified documents below:

The results of the referendum are as follows. The percentage of votes that voted in favour of the neighbourhood plan was 96.7%, therefore the neighbourhood plan is now made as of 12 February 2026. The decision statement and final plan document can be viewed below:
