Growth workshops spring 2016
At the start of 2016, we hosted two ‘growth workshops’ at Twycross Zoo: 28 January 2016 and 4 May 2016.
The workshops sought views from delegates on a range of growth options as we started to think about where housing, employment and other forms of development will be built beyond the year 2026. These events were well attended, with helpful contributions made by developers, parish representatives and elected members. Work then started on the council’s new local plan in early 2017. The views expressed at the two workshops were used to feed into that process.
