Items we collect in the refuse bin:

• Non-recyclable and non-compostable household waste
• Food waste
• DIY waste
• Disposable nappies 
• Tissues, kitchen roll and wipes 
• Menstrual and incontinence pads, bag these 
• Polystyrene packaging 
• Cat or dog waste including cat litter – double bag these 
• Broken crockery and glass – wrap these to avoid injury 
• Cigarette ends and ash from ashtrays 
• Coal and wood ash – once cool 
• Cotton wool pads, earbuds and make up wipes 
• Waste from your vacuum cleaner 
• Blister packs (tablets)
• Greetings card and gift wrapping
• Coffee pods
• Plant pots
• Broken garden/garage tools (not electrical)

Items we collect in the garden bin:

• Grass cuttings
• Flowers
• Plants
• Hedge clippings
• Leaves
• Bark
• Tree prunings
• Weeds

All garden waste must be loose.
