Warm welcome provision grant fund
What are warm welcome grants?
In 2023, we launched a fund to support voluntary, community, and charity organisations within the borough of Hinckley and Bosworth, who wished to provide a warm space for residents and their families.
Organisations could apply for a grant of £1,200 if they agreed:
- To offer a heated space during the winter months
- To be open to everyone
- To offer refreshments such as a warm drink
- That the warm space will be completely free of charge
Successful applicants would receive the grant to help fund associated costs for their provision. Examples of associated costs were:
- Energy costs linked to the delivery of the project
- Food and refreshment costs
- Improving or enhancing an area through a provision
- Expenses for offering a new activity, such as equipment costs

The warm welcome provision grant will reopen for 2024 and 2025 on Tuesday 1 October 2024. Please visit this page on or after that date if you wish to apply.
