Tenant scrutiny panel
The Tenant Influence and Scrutiny Panel aims to:
- Give a tenant perspective on complex issues that the landlord wouldn’t otherwise have
- Allow a focus on important but hidden issues that might not otherwise be looked at
- Respond to the issues that tenants are most concerned about
- Involve a group of tenants who gain specialist knowledge and are also able to see the big picture
- Work closely with the service development team and service managers
Get involved
The Tenant Influence and Scrutiny Panel at Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council is a group of tenants who volunteer their time to look into services that the council provides, and reports back on what they have found.

As a member of the group, you will receive an induction to the housing services so that they have good base knowledge.
Meetings will be tailored to suit the group, and therefore could be online or in person.
The Service Development Team will provide updates on performance data and feedback from the most recent annual tenant survey.
We will meet the costs of reasonable expenses for taking part, such as travel costs or arranging a taxi.
