What was it all about

Economic regeneration is a key corporate priority; the Borough Council has delivered significant outcomes linked to its former adopted Economic Regeneration Strategy. 

The Economic Regeneration Strategy sets out the vision and aims for ensuring the whole borough prospers from economic growth and opportunities over the next five years. 

To achieve these aims, the strategy promotes a holistic joined-up approach, and delivering this strategy requires the council to work in partnership with its key partners and stakeholders.

The purpose of the consultation was to seek the views from partners and relevant stakeholders including borough residents and business, on the aims proposed in the draft strategy document.

Getting involved

We asked you to read our draft Economic Regeneration Strategy 2026-2030 document and give us your views on our proposed aims for each of the key themes.
