Hinckley Town Centre Strategic Transport Development Contributions

The Hinckley Town Centre Strategic Transport Development Contributions Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted by the council in April 2009. It forms part of the Local Plan 2006 - 2026 and outlines a list of highway and public transport improvements which would be needed in the town centre if major developments were to go ahead. It also suggests contributions that developers should pay to finance these improvements.

It provides supplementary guidance on saved Local Plan 2001 policy IMP1 - Contributions Towards the Provision of Infrastructure and Facilities.

It also formed the basis for Policy 15 of the Hinckley Town Centre Area Action Plan and will be used by the council when making decisions on planning applications within Hinckley town centre.
