The Licensing Act 2003 is based around four principles:

  • The prevention of crime and disorder
  • Public safety
  • The prevention of public nuisance
  • The protection of children from harm

Your objection (also known as a representation) must relate to the issues listed above and not to any other issues. They must be made in writing and may be given a subsequent hearing
