  • We can process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) (previously Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)) checks for voluntary sports organisations at no cost. We strongly recommended that if you are involved in coaching, particularly working with children, young people or vulnerable adults on a regular basis, that you have a valid DBS check every two years. The respective sport's governing body recommends this and if you are unsure we suggest you seek their advice

Education workshops for the sports workforce include some of the following:

  • Coaching: for example, safeguarding and protecting young people in sport
  • Club development: for example, the Club Matters workshops such as Marketing for All
  • Inclusion: for example, inclusive coaching
  • Basic first aid
  • Volunteering: for example funding workshops
