Report a lost dog or cat
When you can report a lost dog or cat
You can report your lost dog or cat to us online, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:50pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:20pm (except bank holidays).
What you need to tell us:
- Your contact details – with your permission, we will pass your details on to the person who finds your dog or cat
- Name, breed, age, sex, colour and condition of dog or cat
- Where and when you believe your dog or cat was lost
Have you lost your dog?
You have the option of including a photo of your dog and your phone number for us to publish on social media, currently Facebook and Twitter, should you wish (optional).
Have you lost your cat?
You have the option of including your phone number for us to publish on social media, currently twitter only, should you wish (optional).
Please note: currently, we are not able to include a photo of your cat on Twitter.
After you have completed our form
On completing the form, you will receive an email from us. In this email, there will be a link to contact us to tell us your dog or cat has been found. You will also have the option to ask us to remove your phone number from social media.
