Music in the Mead concerts return for 2025
The popular Music in the Mead series of concerts will return to Argents Mead, Hinckley in 2025.
A range of acts will be performing across 11 dates from May to September.
Victory in the Mead kicks off the season on 5 May, with Julie Sings and Rob Wilson singing songs from the 1940s to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Steven Faulkner then performs on 10 May, with Leicestershire-based alternative musician Izzy Way taking to the stage seven days later.
On 14 June, acoustic alternative rock duo Macacocious will play in the Mead, while Lazarou will cover your favourites and perform some original songs on 21 June.
The following month sees the return of Jazzology, and ‘The Big Band’ will perform various jazz hits on 5 July. Swing and jazz singer Dean Thomas will take centre stage on 26 July.
Solo male artist Sam Southall will be covering your favourite classics on 16 August, then duo UkuleleBoxVox will put a fresh twist on pop covers on 30 August.
In September, two artists will be throwing it back to the mid-20th century to close out the Music in the Mead season. Julie Sings will be performing some of your favourite tunes from the 1950s onwards (6 September), while Take It From The Top will be live on 20 September with classics from Elton John and Tina Turner.

Let’s hope the weather is just as good as the talented musicians on the stage. Bring a chair and your picnic. We look forward to the start of the season with a special VE Day musical celebration.”
