New Pool Hall & Sports Bar set to open in The Crescent
The Crescent is set to welcome its first-ever Pool Hall & Sports Bar, marking a milestone in its nine-year history.
The venue, which will be called ‘BALLERS Pool Lounge’, will offer pints, pizzas, and a range of refreshments, alongside live TV sports coverage.
In addition to its casual dining and sports broadcasts, BALLERS will host regular pool and darts tournaments, creating a vibrant new hub for local sports enthusiasts.
The Borough Council has now finalised a lease for the new venue, in advance of its official opening later this year. BALLERS will be located in Block C of the Crescent - the council-owned section of the development which also includes Cineworld Cinema, Tarro Lounge, Wildwood, The Elbow Room, Bikaneri bar & restaurant, Otto Meze Grill and Mobility & Lifestyle.
Adam Dean, co-owner of BALLERS, said: “We’re thrilled to have reached an agreement with Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. As locals who grew up in Hinckley, we’ve long felt there was a real need for a venue dedicated to pool and darts enthusiasts. Both sports are currently experiencing a surge in popularity, with regional leagues proving hugely competitive.
“We chose The Crescent because we believe it’s unbeatable as a location. It’s modern, well-connected, and easily accessible, with a bus station right on the doorstep, a train station just around the corner, and 550 car parking spaces available on site.
“Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes, connecting with local suppliers and teams. I’m still keen to hear from pool and darts teams, individual players and coaches, sponsors, food suppliers, and live performers—whether DJs, musicians, or bands—who want to be part of bringing this venue to life. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you haven’t already.”
Council Leader Stuart Bray said: “I’d like to extend a warm welcome to BALLERS, and look forward to seeing this exciting new venue thrive in such a prime location. As the first of its kind at The Crescent, it will offer a fantastic space for people to come together and enjoy both sports and great company. I wish the owners every success, and thank them for investing in our town.”
