Service suspended

Our large item collection service is temporarily suspended until further notice. We apologise for this inconvenience and ask that you be responsible with your waste items, we recommend that where possible you store these items until the service reconvenes. You may be able to dispose of some of your items at your local recycling and household waste site (leicestershire.gov.uk). Please check that you can dispose of your items and the opening times of the site before you visit.

If you decided to use a private waste collector we strongly recommend that you check they are registered to collect waste and that you ask for a waste transfer note so that you can see where your waste is being taken to for disposal: register of waste carriers, brokers and dealers (environment.data.gov.uk)

We would also like to remind residents that fly tipping is a crime which carries a fine of £400.

If you have a collection booked we will contact you to discuss this shortly.

Your support during this time is very much appreciated.
