Look out for ghosts, ghouls, witches and wizards in Hinckley town centre on Saturday 26 October from 10am to 3pm when the town centre hosts its annual Spooktacular event.
Spooktacular Saturday offers fun for all the family. Come into town in your Halloween costumes with prizes for the best dressed. FREE activities on the day include pumpkin bowling, freaky face painting, creepy crafts, and spooky stone painting with islastones, themed stilt walker and scary stories in the Mead with Tom the Tale Teller and more!
Bring in your carved pumpkin and display at the event with prizes to be won. Local radio station Fosse 107 will be providing the spooky soundtrack to the day – enjoy the sounds of Thriller, Monster Mash, Ghost Busters and many more.
We are encouraging visitors to Hinckley town centre to dress up in their Halloween costumes and join us for some frightful fun and a fang-tastic day out in haunted Hinckley.
Executive Member for Culture and Leisure at the Borough Council, Councillor Keith Nichols said:
This event is proving increasingly popular year on year. Families, even with the youngest of children, can take part and enjoy all things Halloween at a day-time event within a safe and controlled environment. We look forward to a great day.
