Hinckley & Bosworth young people's voice

Year-round voice opportunities

Ladder of youth participation and associated keywords

We run a Voice Forum for young people aged 11 to 19 years who either live in or attend a school/college in the borough, and are passionate about local politics and making a difference to the community we live in. The meetings take place every first Wednesday of each month and aim to provide young people with a place to express their views and give them opportunities to make a difference to their community and input into the decisions being made.

We share strong links with Leicestershire County Council, particularly its youth services, and help to run the annual Make Your Mark ballot – an opportunity for young people to raise awareness of local and national issues which are raised at Youth Parliament. We are proud to host Members for Youth Parliament in Hinckley and Bosworth and aim to support any young people looking to raise voice in any avenue.

If you are a teacher, student, or anybody else interested in learning more about the services that our team offer, please get in touch via the contact details below.
