Year-round Voice Opportunities
We are able to run single workshops specifically for our area's primary and secondary schools around topics including, but not limited to, budgeting and money management, national government, internet safety, the role of local government and preparation for the world of work. These topics integrate well into specific areas of the Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE) curriculum and are applicable across other integral secondary-level subjects. We are also now in the process of developing stronger mental health provision to support our schools network, a priority across service areas.
We share strong links with Leicestershire County Council, particularly its youth services, and help to run the annual Make Your Mark ballot – an opportunity for young people to raise awareness of local and national issues which are raised at Youth Parliament. We are proud to host Members for Youth Parliament in Hinckley and Bosworth and aim to support any young people looking to raise voice in any avenue. Our borough’s representatives are contactable through the contact form at the bottom of this page.
Find out about our CV-bolstering volunteering opportunities at (nextgenhinckley.org) which take place throughout the year. Alternatively call Next Generation on 01455 632984 or email [email protected].
If you are a teacher, student, or anybody else interested in learning more about the services that our team offer, please contact us.
