‘Feel Alive from 65’ Campaign Week (28th September-4th October 2015)

Sport and physical activity is an important part of all our lives and keeping active is especially important as we get older. Last year, Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport's (LRS) annual Active Ageing campaign saw over 1,500 older adults participate in sport and physical activity taster sessions across the county.

In partnership with localities, Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport’s (LRS) new and refreshed campaign week 'Feel Alive from 65' takes place between 28th September – 4th October and will be an amazing time to take part in a programme of physical activity across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland.

The campaign week will see over 220 sessions available for our older adults including kurling, cycling, bowls, pilates, tai chi, walking, seated exercise - there's something for everyone to try!

There is a comprehensive booklet detailing all the sessions and activities taking place across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland.
