Charity stalls

A limited number of stalls are available free of charge to local charities, such as groups of Brownies, Guides, Scouts, church groups and community groups. These stalls are offered by invitation and it is rare for any surplus stalls to be left available to other fundraisers, so we do not offer an open invitation to attend. We also prioritise commercial stalls as an income source, so the remaining free stalls are very limited and in high demand. Allocation will be at the council's discretion. Booking is normally carried out during September.

100% of all proceeds from any charity stall must be donated to the named charity. Fundraisers donating a percentage of the proceeds will not be accepted.

Young Enterprise scheme

Young people often have a stall at the event as part of the Young Enterprise scheme. These stalls are payable at half the normal fee (£11.75) and you will need to show proof of Public Liability Insurance cover. This is normally available from your school or college.
