Prevent referrals
A Prevent referral can be made by anyone who is concerned that they, or someone they know, is susceptible to radicalisation or might be at risk of becoming involved in terrorism or supporting terrorism. This could be a family member, friend, colleague or a professional.
If you are concerned that a friend, neighbour or relative is at risk of being exploited or becoming involved in terrorism or extremist activity, you should inform the police. To make a police referral, please visit Prevent (leics.police.uk) or you can contact the Prevent Team on 101 extension 2541.
You can call the national police Prevent advice line 0800 011 3764, in confidence, to share your concerns with specially trained officers. If it's an emergency, please call 999.
If you have concerns about the exploitation of a young person, please visit report abuse or neglect of a child (leicestershire.gov.uk)
