How we monitor our services

The council is committed to improving the services it provides to the public.

This is achieved by managing performance in the following ways:

  • On a monthly basis within each service area
  • On a quarterly basis through the council's decision-making process
  • On an annual basis through the production of the council's Corporate Plan

As well as monitoring performance, it is also important that we consider the risks and uncertainties that could impact on our objectives.

The council has a set of performance indicators which show how well we are meeting our own local objectives and targets as well as risk management arrangements in place across the organisation.
