Tenancy offered by housing associations
Housing associations have different types of tenancies. They can offer:
- A starter tenancy
- An assured shorthold tenancy
- An assured tenancy
- A flexible tenancy (for a fixed period of time)
If you are successful in gaining a property with a housing association they will advise you of the type of tenancy that they are offering to you.
Your rights as a tenant with a housing association will depend on the type of tenancy that you have.
