Ashby Canal
This tranquil and lock-free canal once put us in the economic fast lane.
Battlefield Line Railway
The last remaining part of the former Ashby and Nuneaton Joint Railway. It runs from Shackerstone via Market Bosworth to Shenton.

Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre
The gateway to the battle which saw Richard III defeated and the Tudors rise.

Burbage
A small farming community for many centuries, it has since developed to become a suburb of Hinckley. The centre of the village is a conservation area with a number of notable buildings and a local blue plaque scheme recognising distinguished former residents.
A heritage trail with display boards around the village celebrates its history, and there is an active local history group.
