Langdale Park

Large scale improvements to Langdale recreation ground during 2008 were completed. Works included the installation of new land drainage (to help improve the football and cricket pitch), the installation of a new play area, new multi-use games area (funded through the Big Lottery’s Children’s Play programme), a bicycle track over obstacles and a range of further landscaping works including new footpaths, site furniture and tree planting. 

Further improvements have been carried out during 2017 to install outdoor gym equipment and in 2018 to improve the site entrance points, install new picnic benches and the planting of trees and shrubs.
