Community governance review – Witherley

Option 1 – separate parishes, separate governance

Replace the existing parish and parish council with:

• A new parish of Fenny Drayton, and a new Fenny Drayton Parish Council
• A new parish of Ratcliffe Culey, with a parish meeting
• A new parish of Witherley and Atterton, and a new Witherley and Atterton Parish Council

Option 2 – separate parishes, joint council

Replace the existing parish and parish council with: 

• A new parish of Fenny Drayton
• A new parish of Ratcliffe Culey
•  A new Fenny Drayton and Ratcliffe Culey Joint Parish Council to serve both areas
• A new parish of Witherley and Atterton, and a new Witherley and Atterton Parish Council
   

Option 3 – no change

• The existing parish of Witherley and Witherley Parish Council remain as they are
   

Option 4 – dissolution

• The existing parish and parish council are abolished to allow residents to explore alternative forms of community governance independently
