Proms in the Park 2026: Hollycroft Park
About the event: 6 June 2026
This evening concert will feature Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Wind Orchestra. Gates open at 5pm, with the concert to begin at 6pm and finish 8:30pm. There will be a half-hour interval where tea, coffee or an ice cream can be purchased. Local business Bond Street Distillery will also be in the park from 5pm with their mobile bar serving their well-known gins, as well as other alcoholic and soft drinks. You are welcome to bring your own picnic and drinks, and we would encourage any alcohol to be drank responsibly.
The event is free to attend and no booking is necessary. However, capacity is limited in the auditorium area and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. Please pick up after your dog.
Please queue to enter the auditorium from the gate entrance on Hollycroft just before Westray Drive, entry into the auditorium area is not possible from other points.
The park's car park will only be available for Blue Badge holders only, with a member of staff positioned on the gate from 3.30pm - spaces are limited. We recommend that people use public transport or walk to the event where possible. If you are driving, please park in town centre car parks and walk to the event rather than using residential on-street parking.

- Trinity Vicarage Road, LE10 0BU (nine-minute walk)

To coincide with the start of Great Big Green Week (6 - 14 June) our musical programme will be available to download from our website prior to the event, with only a small supply of printed programmes available on the day. We would encourage you to support us by downloading the programme on to a mobile device or, as an alternative, on arrival you can scan a QR code from one of our large posters displayed around the park. All programmes printed are on paper that can be recycled at home.
We politely ask you to take any litter away with you or dispose of in an appropriate bin. There will be portable toilets and handwashing facilities on site and the toilets at the pavilion will be open for the evening too.
