Other things you may need to provide with your application

If you apply for a private hire operator licence and you are not the holder of an existing private hire driver licence with us, you will have to apply for an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check online with UKCRB and the fee payable for this is £53.80. If you need to apply for an enhanced DBS check as part of your private hire operator application: Licensing contact form

If members of the public will be coming on to your premises for booking or waiting purposes, then you will need to have public liability insurance. Your insurance certificate must be provided with your application if this is the case.
