These are examples of changes in your capital, which you will need to notify us about:

• An increase in your capital due to an inheritance you have received
• A decrease in your capital as you have had to pay a large car bill or need new windows in your home

Changes in your capital may affect the help you receive towards your rent and council tax. Please tell us as soon as the change has taken place so that you dont have an overpayment of benefit which you will need to pay back.
