Adult bed bugs are 5mm long, have a flattened oval shape, are reddish brown in colour, becoming purple after feeding. To eradicate the infestation completely, it will be necessary to spray the premises, including the beds, any other furniture and places where they might shelter, thoroughly with suitable insecticides.
