Craft co-operative fair Hinckley

A quality craft fair for all the family. Meet professional and micro business crafters and buy their work. No high street product can compare to the love, time and quality that goes into handcrafted items.

The Craft co-opertative is a mutually supportive group of people who craft for hobby, for business, for charity, for the love of it.

This event takes place at St Francis Community Centre, Tudor Road, Hinckley, LE10 0EQ.

Let's dance

Every Monday evening for adults who want to dance for fun.

Dance routine styles: modern jazz, lyrical/theatre craft, disco/freestyle and ballet.

Teacher, Elaine Atkins (IDTA) said "You do not have to have danced before. If you have a good sense of rhythm and co-ordination, this is the class for you. Wear whatever you are comfortable in, plus trainers or dance shoes."

Strictly fun (dance exercise)

Every Monday morning come and join us for simple, low impact, dance exercise routines. For adults of all ages and fitness levels. No partner required.

Just put on your trainers for one hour of dancing fun.

The dance exercise routines are made up of simple dance moves, using a variety of music in different dance styles: Salsa, Tango, Hustle, Cha-Cha, Jive, Charleston and more.

Storytelling through the exhibition

Join one of the Battlefield Guides in period costume, who will take you on a family friendly guided tour through the award-winning exhibition

Discover what led to the Battle of Bosworth, what happened during the battle and how it affected our history.

Each tour will last approximately one hour and have a capacity of 20 people in total.

Medieval archery weekend

An opportunity for you and your family to meet the medieval archery experts and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of a battlefield during the Middle Ages.

See how arrow shafts were fletched and what leather goods were made to equip an archer. Watch a speed shooting competition between longbowmen and a crossbowman, watch and listen to a hand gunner, find out about the use of bows in warfare and in hunting and how an archer would dress for battle. If archery isn’t for you then try your hand as a billman to complete your soldier training.

Tickets will be available from the ticket office on the day, there's no need to book in advance.
