Group of children in spooktacular dress

Saturday 26 October – Spooktacular Saturday

Enjoy free activities in the Britannia Centre, including pumpkin bowling, creepy crafts, face-painting stencils and a themed stilt-walker! Everyone attending in Halloween fancy dress will receive a medal (subject to availability) and a best-dressed competition will take place at 12pm, with trophies to be won.

19 to 31 October – Hinckley BID’s Halloween Treasure Trail

Fun and free treasure hunt for all the family, just follow the spooky clues located on shop windows around the town to find all the answers! All correct entries are included in a draw with a chance to win hundreds of pounds worth of prizes. You can’t afford to miss out!

Sunday 10 November – Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade

The annual Remembrance Sunday parade and service, held in honor of those who have fought for their country in conflict. A service will take place at Hinckley War Memorial, Argents Mead, starting at 10.55am. We respectfully ask that you arrive by 10.45am. First parade will leave Mount Road Hospital car park at approximately 10.35am, with a second parade taking place following the service.

Friday 22 November and Saturday 23 November – Christmas lights switch and Tin Hat Fair

The big switch-on of the Christmas lights in Hinckley. Live entertainment will start at 4pm on Friday in Market Place with a range of food vendors, market stalls and street entertainment, followed by the light switch-on at 6.30pm. The Tin Hat Fair will be on Regent Street on Friday 22 November from 4pm to 10pm, and on Saturday 23 November from 12pm to 10pm.
