Hinckley & Burbage Lions casino night

HBLC annual charity fund raising event to help local causes. Location: Green Rooms, St Mary's Road, Hinckley, LE10 1EQ. (Parking opposite is free after 6pm.)

You use tokens you purchase to bet on several blackjack and roulette tables. Your ticket includes welcome drinks and canapés, plus some starter betting tokens. Christmas tree festival

The annual Christmas tree festival launches at St Mary's Church, Hinckley, on the evening of Thursday 28 November with the switch-on by the Mayor of Hinckley.

Festival opening times:

  • 6:30pm to 9pm on Thursday 28 November
  • 10am to 4pm on Friday 29 November
  • 10am to 4pm on Saturday 30 November
  • 12 noon to 4pm on Sunday 1 December
  • 10am to 4pm on Monday 2 December

Jive night: last Friday of the month - November 2019

Hinckley Rock and Roll Club jive nights take place on the second and last Friday of every month.

Doors open at 7.30pm, music played until 11.15pm.

Top DJ's playing the best Rock 'n' Roll music to jive, bop and stroll to. For non-dancers an optional jive lesson with qualified teacher, Elaine Atkins, is available from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, cost £4 per person (no need to book).
