Local plan review consultation

Pancake race

Hinckley BID's eighth annual pancake race from Market Place up Castle Street.

To be held on Castle Street (outside Clarks) from 12 noon. It's a knockout event, all welcome. Pancakes provided, free to enter, just bring a frying pan.

Show off your pancake tossing skills or just have some fun in the Hinckley Pancake Race.

All pancakes will be provided, you just need to bring your own frying pan. There are two categories: Junior (ages five-12yrs) and Senior (ages 13yrs+). Individual or team entries welcome (teams can be mixed age groups). 

There will be Trophies for each race winner in each group and also an award for the ‘funniest costume’ on the day, for those wishing race in fancy dress. The Mayor will present a neck medal to every entrant.  You might also consider it a good ‘fund raiser’ through asking friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you for a good cause of your choice. Wonderful welly walk

Wear your wellies to take a short walk outside to collect leaves and then come back inside to create a work of art with what we find.
