Planned investment programme
To keep our homes in good condition and to meet the minimum requirements of the decent homes standard, Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council have a planned investment programme for repair and replacement work. Carrying out programmed works, is a more cost effective and efficient method of replacing property elements.
What is covered by our planned investment programme?
Many parts of a home have only a limited life span, so we know when they are likely to need replacing. It is these elements that make up our investment programme and include:
- Kitchens
- Bathrooms
- Boiler replacement
- uPVC windows and doors
- Electrical upgraded and rewiring
- Re-roofing
- Energy efficiency improvements to poor performing homes
