Charity stall on Hinckley Market

A stall is available on the Friday and Saturday markets for use by registered charities for fundraising purposes. Public liability insurance cover with an indemnity of £5,000,000 is essential, and if the stall is to be manned by an employee of the charity, employees' liability insurance with an indemnity of £10,000,000 is also required. Evidence of this cover, which is valid at the time of the stall being used, must be provided at the time of booking.
We offer each charity a free stall which will be allocated by the Markets Manager on the day.
The stall includes a table measuring 3 metres wide by 1.4 metres deep and a canopy measuring 3 metres wide by 3.5 metres deep. Users of the stall may unload from the loading bay at the top of Church Walk or alternatively access may be gained through the rising bollard at the top of Castle Street before 10am on request.
Charities may stand on a Monday, but would have to bring their own stall and table, as the market is self-erect on a Monday.
Goods sold on the stall must not be dangerous in any way and must not include alcohol. No raffle is allowed, although tombola is acceptable. A full list of terms and conditions accompanies the application form.
