In bathrooms
The bathroom is a place in the home where falls often happen.
Showers and baths should be stable and securely fitted, with appropriate slip resistant surfaces.
Ideally grab rails or handles should be provided where necessary.
The bathroom should have appropriate slip resistant flooring and the layout should allow adequate space for turning, drying and undressing.
Ensure there is adequate lighting
