Major review of the neighbourhood plan
Market Bosworth Parish Council has embarked on a major review of the neighbourhood plan. The latter stages of this process are detailed below.

Examination
Dr Louise Brooke-Smith was appointed to examine the Market Bosworth Neighbourhood Plan Review. The Examiner's Report was issued in March 2025: Examiner's Report
Decision
As required by the neighbourhood planning regulations, a decision statement (Regulation 18) has been published which outlines what action the Borough Council must take in response to the recommendations made by the Independent Examiner, and the next steps as the plan proceeds to referendum. The decision was made by Director for Community & Development Services, in consultation with the Ward Member for Market Bosworth Parish and the Executive Member for Planning, as per the council's constitution:

Referendum
The referendum is scheduled for Thursday 10 July 2025. More information can be found on the current elections page which can be viewed here: current elections
