Recommended hours of work
Where there is the potential to cause noise nuisance, contractors are expected to adhere to the following hours of work:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 6pm
- Saturday: 8am to 1pm
- Sundays and bank holidays: no working
These times apply to work which you can hear from the site boundary.
In exceptional circumstances, work outside these hours may be unavoidable. If you want to carry out work outside these hours, please contact Environmental Health: Environmental Health contact form, in advance. In an out of hours emergency, please call 01455 251137.
If you are a contractor, please notify immediate neighbours of any work you are planning to carry out that may cause excessive noise.
