My house name doesn’t appear on any databases
Where houses are numbered, the addition of a house name is purely optional. Where the council is aware of the house name we will include it in our systems. Royal Mail however treats the number as the main property identifier and the name as an alias.
Where the local convention is for houses to be named only or for some rural buildings, the name is the primary identifier for the property. Please contact us to resolve the issue.
