Active Awards 2026
Hinckley and Bosworth’s Local Sport and Health Alliance (LSHA) Active Awards recognise all of the hard work individuals, sports clubs, volunteers, organisations and schools have undertaken to help others keep active and healthy.
From schools, community groups and organisations, to individuals, our Active Awards celebrate the wide and varied contributions made to make our residents more active.
There are many individuals, community groups and organisations who work tirelessly to help bring opportunities and expert knowledge to those who may not have access otherwise. Awards and nominations can help people and groups show that the work they do is effective, allowing them to carry this on in the future via funding opportunities.
Know someone who deserves this award?
We are looking for volunteers, coaches, mentors, clubs and teams who work in sport and physical activity and have demonstrated outstanding achievements or contributions to the community.
Please note that this year school awards are being administered separately.
You are able to nominate until midnight on Friday 18 December 2026.
The awards will be held on the evening of Thursday 28 January 2027 at Hinckley Rugby Club.
