Christmas craft fayre

Join the Thorton community for their annual Christmas craft fayre.
Location: Thorton Community Centre, LE67 1AH.
Well-established craft fayre as well as the usual cake, tombola and raffle stalls, there will be beautiful and unusual items for sale from the many craft stalls for those unique gifts!
There will be games for the children and the cafe will serve snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices. Father Christmas will be arriving with a sack full of goodies, hopefully by mini-steam engine travelling through the village.

Do you remember the '50s radio plays of Dick Barton? Well meet Neville Reville, ace Fleet Street reporter. Unfortunately, the script seems to have been edited by Spike Milligan and could resemble the Goons show!
2. Carrot by David Tristram
Running a factory is never an easy task especially when the young new boss seems clueless and the foreman is a stickler for the rules. Can harmony be found on the shop floor?
3. Jilted Lovers Helpline by Johnny Grim
True love rarely runs a straight course. So when problems arise in your relationship there is only one place to call for help.

Christmas lights car trail

Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council invites local disabled and elderly care home residents to come into Hinckley to see the Christmas lights.
Letters have been sent out to these premises to invite their residents and carers to the free event.
Hot drinks and mince pies served at the end of the trail.
