Barkers funfair will be at Clarendon Park on the 10 May until 19 May 2024, ground and weather conditions permitting.

As in previous years, the area around the visitor centre at the Leicester Road entrance will hold the main event. There will be a large marquee accommodating a number of stalls, including craft stalls and charity stalls from both local and national environmental charities. Visitors can also enjoy an arena which will accommodate a number of displays over the course of the day, including maypole dancing, TKT Cheerleaders, a falconry display and a Tai Chi demonstration. 

You could also kjoin in the fun and enter your dog into our dog show. There will be a number of different categories to accommodate all different ages, shapes and size of dog, prizes and a rosette to be won.

There will also be bug and bird box making, donkey rides, archery and other activities taking place throughout the day, which all the family can take part in.

Finally, you can stock up on tasty local produce when visiting the farmer’s market area. With many food and refreshments stalls, there’s no need to bring your own.

This year Hollycroft Park will host a famly festival to celebrate Hinckley & Bosworth's 50th anniversary.

Booking is essential. 

Pond-dipping and boat-making, plus land-based water play. 

For children aged two to 12 years. Cost £6 per child, maximum of 20 places available. 

Children must be accompanied by a booked adult. One adult per family group, up to a maximum of three children. Non-activity younger/older siblings can attend, but no resources will be provided. 

There are two sessions:

• The first session from 10:00 to 11:30
• The second session from 12:30 to 14:00

Places are limited, so please call 01455 255728 to book (a non-refundable payment will be taken on booking).

Meet at the Visitor's Centre. Please come dressed for being outside - waterproof jacket and boots, sun cream and sun hat for children, and accompanying adult. 

No dogs are allowed at Wild Play sessions.
