Support groups

There are several support groups emerging across the district, that have been set up by volunteers. These groups are a great opportunity for sponsors and their guests to meet others who are in similar situations and share information and experiences.

Safety advice

Emergency services are recommending that hosts share their address and postcode with their guests and that they make a note of this in their phones or display it around the house. This is to help the Ukrainian guests if they get lost or need to call the emergency services on 999. It is also advised that you discuss with them how to call for emergency services, if needed.
