Ashby Canal Conservation Area
Appraisal and management plan with map
An appraisal and review of the Ashby Canal Conservation Area was completed in November 2009 as part of the council's programme to produce periodic conservation area appraisals and management plans.
Following the completion of the appraisal and review, a period of public consultation was held between 16 November and 4 December 2009. During this time, a series of exhibitions were held at venues along the canal and members of the public were encouraged to comment on the proposals.
Comments received were considered and, if appropriate, included in the documents subsequently adopted by the council on 22 December 2009.
