Regulation 16 (open for consultation until 12pm on Friday 31 July 2026)
The Desford Neighbourhood Plan review is subject to consultation (the Regulation 16 Submission Consultation) for a period of just over six weeks, running from 12pm on Wednesday 17 June 2026 to 12pm on Friday 31 July 2026.

Regulation 15
A valid Regulation 15 submission of the Desford Neighbourhood Development Plan Review was received by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council in May 2026.
The Borough Council has confirmed that the submission meets the relevant statutory requirements and has formally accepted the plan to proceed to the Regulation 16 publication and consultation stage. The Regulation 15 acceptance letter can be viewed below:
Regulation 14
The review proposals were published for public consultation in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended). This stage was led by Desford Parish Council, acting as the qualifying body. The consultation ran from 29 September to 7 November 2025.

Strategic Environmental Assessment and Habitat Regulations Assessment
